Stronger Together - “More Than Books: Your 3rd Space for the Holidays and Beyond” with Sarah Little from Timberland Regional Library
Thursday, December 11th, 2025 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm
Via zoom! You will receive the link via email prior to the event.
Join us for the next Stronger Together session as we explore the library as a warm and inviting third space for all generations, especially during the holiday season when connection matters most. Our guest speaker, Sarah from Timberland Regional Library, will share how your local branch offers welcoming spaces, free access to technology, playful environments for families and creative tools you can borrow. You will also hear about ways to connect with others, relax with a good book and enjoy friendly support with or without a traditional library card. Whether you are seeking somewhere to hang out or simply something uplifting to do, your local library is a comfortable place to be all year.
We recommend having a paper and pencil on hand.

Meet Sarah:
I have had the honor of serving as a Library worker for 13 years with Timberland Regional Library. I started as a Youth Services Associate in my hometown Library of Aberdeen, Wa. Other titles I have held are Community Engagement Librarian, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator and Public Services Coordinator. In my new role as a Floating Public Services Specialist, I provide coverage for programs and outreach for kids, teens, and adults. I also cover for the Anywhere Library Specialists and meet the community at Food Banks, Schools and Senior Centers and provide Library Services with our mobile services vehicle. When I am not at work, you can find me on local trails, local coffee shops, paddleboarding, biking, practicing yoga, reading, or exploring the beautiful spaces of Washington State with my family.
About Stronger Together:
Stronger Together is a restorative, multigenerational community and teen positive program for people 12+. Once a month, September to May, we gather around topics of importance to our community, such as self care, positive mental outlooks, and healthy relationships, share information and resources and create a space for learning from one another.
