Community Empowerment Session: Conflict & Communication Labs

Fall 2025 Community Empowerment Session
Intro to Conflict and Communication Labs

Community Empowerment Sessions are back this fall! Join us for the Intro to Conflict Resolution and Communication Labs, a hands-on training designed to strengthen your communication and conflict resolution skills. Whether you're looking to navigate everyday conflict more effectively or you're considering becoming a community mediator, this session is a powerful place to begin.

What are Community Empowerment Sessions?

These free workshops are hosted by the Dispute Resolution Center’s Dialogue Project, bringing together tools and insights from community leaders and partner agencies. You’ll receive practical, real-world resources in a supportive environment where you can learn, connect, and grow. Community Empowerment Sessions are open to all and provide tools that can be applied immediately in personal, workplace, and community settings.

🧭 Intro to Conflict and Communication Labs are a required prerequisite if you choose to continue into our full Training for Community Mediators, which leads to eligibility as a volunteer community mediator.

💡 What You’ll Learn in the Afternoon: Interpersonal Communication Lab
