Meet Sara:
Sara is the Prevention Program Manager and a Victims Advocate working with folks who’ve experienced sexual abuse or trauma of any kind. Working in Prevention, Sara spends much of her time in schools teaching k-12. Topics such as boundaries, consent, and healthy relationships are a few of the classes she teaches. Sara also teaches parenting and trafficking classes to the public and other organizations. She also spent 3 years working with trauma survivors in a drug rehab setting.  In her Advocate role she works one on one, as well as a facilitator of groups, helping folks learn vital skills in dealing with sexual trauma. Sara specializes in working with LGBTQ+ folks and youth. She is passionate about marrying harm reduction and a trauma informed approach to all aspects of mental and physical health.  In her off time she volunteers with Hotties of Harm Reduction, spends time riding her motorcycle, reading and cooking.
